Innovation Club
GSU Innovation Club brings together creative and curious students to design, build, code, and compete with robots. Members develop hands-on skills in robotics and 3D printing, progressing from simple tasks to more complex designs.
Our Purpose & Meeting Schedule
The mission of GSU Innovation Club is to have current GSU students discover new ideas, learn to use different tools, build robots, and have robots compete to show students what can be improved. Students will use different combinations of parts to make robots for sports, constructions, transportation, and other sectors.
GSU Innovation Club is a group of creative thinkers, curious explorers, and hands-on adventurers. They will design, build, code, and compete with their robots, discovering different ways to create robots for varied uses like object transportation. Through time and effort, students will be able to make increasingly complex designs.
Under the guidance of Professor Shukmei Oh and Professor Aslam Shahid, the club provides members with robots' parts such as LEGO materials, coding software, and competition mats. The club also connects GSU students with local high and middle school students for the First Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics competition.
- Over 100 faculty, administrators, staff, and students are Innovation Club members
